2012 Bourne on the Fourth of July Parade Dear Parade Participant: It is our hope that you will choose to celebrate with us at the Town of Bourne’s 4th Annual Fourth of July Parade. Our parade is scheduled for Wednesday, July 4, 2012. Our first priority is the safety and care of children, parade participants and the spectators along the parade route. Please honor the following guidelines as they are designed to ensure success of the parade. Throwing items from the parade entries creates a safety risk for both spectators and parade participants and is prohibited. Items can be walked to the curbs for safe distribution. We will ask that one representative from each group wishing to participate in this year’s parade be present at the final parade organizational meeting a few days before the parade to discuss staging location and directions. We feel this will relieve most of the confusion on the day of the parade. The meeting date and time is June 28 at 6:30 pm at the Bourne Veterans Memorial Community Building in Buzzards Bay.. Space in the parade is limited and the registration deadline is June 1, 2012 or when unit capacity is reached, whichever occurs first. If you are interested in participating, please complete and return enclosed forms to the following: Bourne on the 4th
